ASHRAE GreenGuide and GreenTips
|
ASHRAE GreenGuide – This guide offers essential reference and guidance to HVAC&R system designers involved in sustainable building design. The ASHRAE GreenGuide is a step-by-step manual for the entire building lifecycle, from the early stages of a green building design project to the resulting structure’s construction, operation, maintenance and eventual demolition. Originally published in 2003, The ASHRAE GreenGuide was revised and updated in 2006.
ASHRAE GreenTips– The guide features ASHRAE GreenTips, which are sidebars containing information on techniques, processes, measures or systems. The ASHRAE GreenTips contain a list of other sources for reference. The GreenTips give designers enough familiarity with the subject to enable them to determine whether it is suitable for the project being worked on.
